Privacy Policy

What we collect, what we don't, and how we protect your information. Last updated June 2026.

If You Are in Crisis

CalmBridge is not a crisis service. If you need immediate help:

  • 📞988 — Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Call or text 988 — 24/7, free, confidential.
  • 🚨911 — for emergencies.
  • 💬741741 — Crisis Text Line. Text HOME to 741741, 24/7.

Our Core Commitment

🔒

Zero PII during assessment. CalmBridge does not collect your name, email, phone, address, or any personally identifiable information during the self-assessment. Your responses are anonymous and session data is not tied to any identifiable user.

We are committed to keeping your assessment responses private, confidential, and used only for the purpose of providing your clarity report and connecting you with mental health professionals if you choose.

What We Collect

During the self-assessment, CalmBridge collects the following — all of it anonymous and session-scoped:

  • Assessment responses — your answers to PHQ-9 and GAD-7 screening questions
  • Session data — a randomly generated session ID, not tied to any name or email
  • Score data — computed PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores and severity levels
  • Completion metadata — time spent on assessment (for quality purposes, not identification)

No name, email address, phone number, physical address, or any other PII is collected during the assessment unless you voluntarily provide contact information to book a therapist appointment — and that is entirely optional.

What We Do NOT Collect

✗ Your name, email, or phone number during the assessment
✗ Your IP address or device identifiers linked to assessment responses
✗ Health insurance information or medical record numbers
✗ Government IDs or any form of identification
✗ Assessment responses tied to any identifiable user (session-only)

How Your Data Is Used

Assessment responses are used for exactly two purposes:

  • Generating your clarity report — your PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores are analyzed to produce a plain-language severity level and action guidance
  • Therapist matching — if you choose to be connected with a mental health professional, your general location (state only) may be used to match you with providers in your area

Your data is never used for advertising, research, sold to third parties, or shared with insurance companies.

Data Sharing

🚫

We do not sell or share your assessment data with third parties. Your responses are used only by CalmBridge to deliver your clarity report. If you choose to be matched with a therapist, your contact information (name, email, location) is shared with that mental health professional only for the purpose of scheduling — and only if you explicitly provide it.

Cookies and Analytics

CalmBridge uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how many people visit the platform and where they come from. This is aggregate traffic data only — we do not track individual assessment responses through analytics.

  • Page visits — tracked (not tied to individual users or assessment data)
  • Traffic sources — tracked to understand how people find CalmBridge
  • Individual assessment responses — NOT tracked through analytics
  • Cookies — standard session cookies for assessment flow only; no persistent advertising cookies

Google Analytics data is aggregate and does not include personally identifiable information. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser extension like Privacy Badger or uBlock Origin.

Your Choices

You are always in control of your data with CalmBridge:

  • Skip any question — you can skip any assessment question at any time
  • Stop the assessment — you can end the assessment at any time with no consequences
  • No obligation — there is no penalty for skipping questions or stopping mid-assessment
  • No account required — no login, no account creation, no email required to take the assessment
  • No data retention beyond your session — if you stop mid-assessment without completing, your in-progress responses are not retained

Data Security

CalmBridge uses industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure session management, and access controls on our database. Assessment sessions use randomly generated UUIDs — not sequential or guessable identifiers.

While we take data security seriously, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to protect your access codes as you would any login credential.

Therapist Booking (Optional)

If you choose to be connected with a mental health professional, you will voluntarily provide your name, email address, and location. This information is shared with the therapist you select for the purpose of scheduling — and only with your explicit consent.

CalmBridge does not retain your therapist booking contact information beyond what is needed to process the referral.

Children's Privacy

CalmBridge is designed for adults (18 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor's information has been submitted, please contact us at lordnchem@yahoo.fr and we will remove it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

If CalmBridge's data practices change meaningfully, we will update this privacy policy and note the change at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
